Survey Fees, Deductions and Cancellation Policy
Where a survey fee is required, this must be paid in advance in order to secure a survey appointment. The survey fee covers administrative costs and the allocation of a specific date and time.
Survey fees are not deductible from proofing, repair or preventative works, which are quoted separately.
Payment of the survey fee constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
2. Cancellations by the Customer
If you need to cancel or rearrange your survey appointment, you must notify us in writing (by email or message) as soon as possible. Refunds are issued based on the amount of notice provided prior to the scheduled survey date.
Refunds are applied as follows:
- 7 days or more before the scheduled survey date;
A full refund (100%) of the survey fee will issued. - Between 3 and 7 days before the scheduled survey date;
A partial refund of 50% of the survey fee will be issued. - 2 days or less before the scheduled survey date (including same-day cancellations);
No refund will be issued.
Failure to attend the scheduled survey appointment without prior notice will be treated as a late cancellation. In such cases, the survey fee is non-refundable.
4. Method of Refund
Any refunds due will be processed back to the original payment method used at the time of booking, within 3-5 working days.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
We reserve the right to review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. This does not affect our general refund policy as outlined above.
6. Changes by Us
If we are required to cancel or rearrange a survey appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered either:
- A full refund of the survey fee, or
- An alternative survey date at no additional cost.
