They also put in doors to allow any pigeons underneath the solar panels that were unable to be removed, to safely exit without being able to return.
Humane removal: They safely removed any existing pigeon nests and nesting materials from under the solar panels and disposed of them properly to prevent further infestation. They also cleaned up all the pigeon fouling on and around the solar panels.
Educational outreach: They provided the Thompsons with education on bird behaviours and habitat preferences as well as tips for maintaining their solar panel system to minimise future bird-related issues.
