- Trapping and removal: Shane strategically placed bait stations and traps in areas of high rat activity to capture and remove the rats from the property. We used humane trapping methods to minimise the stress of the animals and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Sanitation and cleanup: Shane conducted a thorough cleanup of the restaurant’s interior, removing rat droppings, nesting materials and all contaminated food or surfaces. The affected areas were then sanitised using a biocide to eliminate odours and bacteria.
- Monitoring and maintenance: Shane implemented a monitoring programme to track rat activity and ensure that the infestation was effectively controlled. Regular inspections and ongoing maintenance were conducted to prevent future outbreaks.
Outcome:
Following our intervention, the restaurant was free from rats, allowing Mr Patel to resume business with confidence.
